UpdateAddons: Object reference not set to an instance...

I just updated to the public 2.5.0 version and restarted UniUploader. When it tries to synchronize with the UniAdmin, version 0.5.1, I get the error:

Code: Select all: [2006/10/15 17:51:41] Beginning the XML document parsing [2006/10/15 17:51:41] UpdateAddons: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Attached is the rest of the log around that bit. There are about 5 add-ons we distro via UU/UA.

Yup, I have gotten the same error. It gets the XML file telling it what mods it should have, but then bugs out with the error UpdateAddons: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

what version of UA are you guys using? UU 2.5.0 was tested with UA 0.6.1 and 0.7.0

looks like you're using an ancient beta

Yes, I was using beta 0.5.1

I am downloading beta 0.6.1 and seeing what results I get.

Yup, works with the 0.6.1 beta. I see the difference is that the XML document returned by the 0.6.1 has a version="" value associated with each addon tag. Guess this is what was causing the error since it wasn't provided in 0.5.1

Try UniAdmin 0.7.0 beta
