I'd like to hide the guild bank toons from the general members and only have it available for officers. My idea is to make the button and link not available in the main roster page but still have a link available that the officers could type in to get the bank list.

What would I edit to take the button/link out of the front roster page? Which file is the one that I could change the link to the guild bank? I don't want members guessing at it so I'll have to make a new one.

Roster doesn't have built in authentication (not untill version 1. so you can't specify who sees it and who does not

You can turn off the link in the menu (do this from Roster Config), and just give the url to your officers

Problem with that is the guild bank is still listed under the addons menu. How should I go about hiding that?

Oh, that's catagorized guild bank, which is a roster addon
1.8 will also include the ability to restrict access to addons as well, but until then, you can rename or delete menu.php in roster/addons/guildbank/

I'd like to change that url so it's not so easy to just figure it out based off another site's roster. Can you tell me what files I need to screw with to change that? (I'm not a web html/php/sql type ) Anything simple to add a digit or letter into there would suffice.

You would have to change every link in every file in the guildbank folder, then rename the folder

Hrm...so 1.8 is supposed to have addon password protection? I read that somewhere. Is there a plan in the same version to have users be able to change their own display settings?
