It should die if it couldn't retrieve the page.

Try this

at line 122 in missing.php, add in

die;


See if it returns anything.

I'm thinking there may be a proxy or something, and it can't actually get to allakhazam.

And, I tried it before and after the brackets... same result.. ideas?

So what's happending is for some reason, it's coming back as it succeeded, but as you can see, it didn't. It didn't return anything.

I don't know of a good way to test this either. I would contact your host, and see if they have anything preventing cURL or furl_open.

Nah, cURL is working and supported.. some of the other addons use it that i have implemented...

and the allakhazam, that you may be on to- but I am not sure how to make it work- I'm using Raid Tracker modded.. but the links to allakhazam don't work and neither do the images.. same problem with Itemstats...

Maybe I will contact the hosting service.. you think this is a cURL problem?

I'm thinking so, but I can't rule out other things. If you aren't able to get the itemstats info from allakhazam (which raid tracker uses, I believe), that leads me to believe that somewhere between you and allakhazam is a bad connection, or a totally denied connection.

I get the same error but ONLY with Tailoring. Everything else works fine.
