PvPLog Announcement

Postby mrmuskrat » Sat Sep 02, 2006 3:36 am

Okay, this isn't a PvPLog support post but this is probably the best place for a post such as this.

Nostrademous suggested that I take over PvPLog.

After much consideration, I have decided to do so. I will attempt to correct the outstanding issues first. I realize that there are also feature requests but they will have to wait while I become intimitely familiar with the code.

Congrats and I'm so very sorry <- come to mind, LoL

Anyway, if you are planning anything that's gonna greatly cahnge how pvplog works, please let us know so Roster can be updated to handle it

At your request, I can remove pvplog v0.5.0 and keep yours as the official version

PvPLog Announcement

Postby mrmuskrat » Wed Sep 06, 2006 7:46 am

I'm working my way through the code to decifer when the various sections are used. I'm attempting to learn as much as I can of the WoW API so that PvPLog can make use of it instead of relying on what is displayed in the combat logs (since that can be misleading). I'm also tracking down older versions of PvPLog and comparing them to 0.5.0 and later; there have been many changes and I want to do this right.
