svn[1295] - "Cannot use string offset as an array"

Error on initial CharacterProfiler.lua upload:

Code: Select all: Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\roster2\lib\update.lib.php on line 450

CharacterProfiler.lua being used is attached in case it is relevant.

Brand new install of Roster 2.0 and all went fine until guild data upload.

Hi anthony!

There is some old data in your CP file
Server 'Barthilas' you have old character data (not in the character block)
And there is a guild in the 'Guild' block that doesn't have the new data and we are not performing the version check before it

We'll have to fix this

When a READ SVN access to the public/anonymous ?

Some people want more continues updates than normal

The Nightly Build are good for the normal people .. but some ones (like me) wants more!!! B)

So academically, I could blow away my CharacterProfiler.lua and create a fresh one and it should all work? You are right about there being data for chars in other guilds and other realms and collected by CP 6 months ago. I guess this is a good test for the robustness of the update.lib.php

Yes, it defiantly would be a good test

Now we just need to figure out exactly why this happens

I thought it was because of old guild data, moving the version check should have solved that but it seems that there might be incomplete data
