Tuesday, December 5th, WoW will undergo a major UI addon change

What does this mean for WoWRoster?
We are currently working on Roster 1.7.2 which will be WoW 2.0 compatible

You most defiantly should disable uploading in Roster until we get 1.7.2 beta out, or a patch for 1.7.1

The bulk of the changes will need to be in lib/wowdb.php, this file parses the data in CP.lua and converts it for import into the database

I will be working on it this weekend, so hopefully we will have something Tuesday (fingers crossed !)

To disable uploading on your roster, go to the roster config, page 'Update Access', and set the option called 'Update Access' to 'Disabled'

What is bad is that I cannot get info for GP as I am not in a guild on the test server

I did manage to get in a guild on the test server
Roster 1.7.2 works with CP and GP 2.0 as of yesterday (Monday)

I'm waiting until I can get onto the live servers to do one more test

After testing, I will release a public beta of 1.7.2

Any time frame on a release?

Just for style points on the update display but if the settings for Update Roster is set to disable, it should display a message like "Update has been disabled" on the Update page instead of showing the standard update page.

Let me know if you need another beta tester. I had the good timing to install everything today only to discover the mod won't talk to the server. Either that or if you have some pointers on what changed, I could look at it as well.

Note that data saved with these addons will not upload correctly to any Roster
Only Roster 1.7.2 when it is released will be compatible
If I have time, I may put out a patch for 1.7.1, but there is no big reason for this because 1.7.2 contains only bug fixes and the 2.0 compatibility
